Attention!
This driver is intended for use with Software RAID 0/1/10/5 configurations (Embedded Server RAID Technology II) on server boards enabled for S5000 (ESB2) SATA RAID and LSI1064e/1068 SAS SW RAID.

This download contains the Intel® Embedded Server RAID Technology II SATA and SAS RAID 0/1/10/5 driver for IA32 and IA64 bit Microsoft Windows* operating systems.

This is the Intel® Embedded Server RAID Technology II Windows Drivers - version 07.19.0430.2007. The driver package will extract with two folders:

windows_xp_2003_x64 -> This folder contains the drivers for Microsoft Windows* IA64 operating systems.

windows_xp_2003_2K_x86 -> This folder contains the drivers for Microsoft Windows* IA32 operating systems.

See the included 32 or 64 bit readme file for detailed installation instructions.

Download the drivers and extract the appropriate files to the appropriate media.

The following requirement is specific for the Intel® 5000 Series Chipset Baseboards:

The use of a USB Floppy drive is required to complete the successful loading of the RAID drivers. Currently there is no Floppy drive controller on the baseboard, a USB Floppy drive is required to be purchased. For a list of validated USB floppy drives, please check the Tested Hardware and Operating System List for the platform you are using at http://support.intel.com.

If the use of a USB floppy drive cannot be achieved, Microsoft has specific instructions on how to embed the driver into the installation media. Please check http://support.microsoft.com** for more information.
